THE SEASON: Consists of 10 regular season (RS) games--single-round elimination tournaments--played every other weekend, and 1 End-of-Season (EOS) game. Players get points for how well they finish in each game and those points are added up to reflect the season points. The Points Champion for the season gets a $30 gift (taken from the EOS pot).
Season 9 began on September 13, 2008. Schedule posted to RR Calendar page.
THE GAME: No-Limit Texas Hold’em. RS games have a starting chip stack of $30,000 per player. At the EOS game, each person starts with a chip stack equal to $1000 times their season points. The League Director manages, organizes, and runs each game. This season we have added Head Hunter Points.
THE BUY-IN: RS games - $30; $24 goes to that game’s pot; $6 goes to the EOS game pot. EOS game - $10; added to the already collected EOS pot funds. $30 is withheld from the EOS pot to purchase the gift reward for the season’s Points Champion.
PLAYER RANKINGS: The League Custodian keeps track of each player’s stats. Players get points based on how well he/she does in each game and how many people (if any) they "hit" or take out during a game. See League Scoring for full details on the points structure. Any player who misses a game can pay $6 to receive 5 points for that missed game.
