Paul "Eskimo" Clark

Paul "Eskimo" Clark born June 2 in New Orleans is known as one of the most aggressive players on the poker tables and not only is he a veteran poker player, he's a veteran of the Viet Nam war. Eskimo Clark gained his nickname obviously because of his looks. He currently has three WSOP bracelets to his name and he is listed 62nd on the all-time money. Eskimo Clark has been playing high stakes poker for over 16 years.

Eskimo's play style, which involves fearlessness, unnerves many poker players, making him an exceptional bluffer. His large size and intimidating appearance add to the effect. As little is known about him, this colorful character probably deserves to have more air time.

Eskimo Clark first finished in the money at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the 1988 limit omaha event. He has also made money finishes in the $10,000 No Limit Hold'em main event in 1997 (19th) and 1998 (25th) where he was eliminated with pocket Aces. In 2003, Clark won the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event of the Bellagio's Five Diamond World Poker Classic, earning a $160,095 prize by defeating a final table including Erik Seidel, Chris Karagulleyan, Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott, Johnny "Oriental Express" Chan and Huck Seed.

Clark began playing the World Poker Tour (WPT) during its second season. His second place finish in the World Poker Challenge $5,000 No Limit Hold'em event earned him $310,403.

Clark can be found at the high stakes poker tables of the Bellagio when he is not on the tournament circuit.
