Erick Lindgren

Erick Lindgren was born on August 11, 1976 in Burney, California.

Erick Lindgren's first major tournament win was on Dec 12, 2002 at the Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic in No Limit Hold'em where he won $228,192. Erick followed that with his first World Poker Tour (WPT) win on Oct 18, 2003 winning $500,000. Then on Mar 18, 2004, Lindgren won the WPT PartyPoker Million III cruise, and the $1 million top prize.

Lindgren also finished 2nd in the World Series of Poker Circuit Event in Atlantic City on January 18, 2005 winning $430,521. On February 22, 2005, Erick finished 5th in the WPT LA Poker Classic winning $206,657 and just days later on February 25, 2005, he won the second Professional Poker Tour tournament and $225,000.

In January 2006 Erick made another WPT final table, finishing 3rd at the 2006 Borgata Winter Poker Open.

Lindgren won the $600,000 first prize in the FullTiltPoker.net Poker Pro Showdown event in June 2006, beating Mike Matusow, Clonie Gowen, Erik Seidel, John Juanda, Chris Ferguson and Phil Ivey.

Erick Lindgren is also a member of "Team Full Tilt" at Full Tilt Poker. Lindgren hosted "FTOPS Event #9", which was part of Full Tilt's series of large buy-in tournaments. There were over 5,000 entrants, over $1.5 million at stake, and Erick Lindgren became the first Full Tilt pro to win an FTOPS event hosted by himself.

Not shy to take up a challenge, Erick won a $350,000 prop bet. To win, Erick had to play four consecutive rounds of golf at Las Vegas' "Bear's Best" golf course between sunrise and sunset. He had to carry his own bags and shoot under 100 in each of the four rounds. Temperatures reached 106 degrees and symptoms of heat exhaustion set in, but Erick won the bet.
