Ron Rose
Ron Rose was born on September 4, 1944 in Vancouver, Washington and currently resides in Dayton, Ohio.
Ron Rose was in the Air Force and later he started two computer companies and an internet company which he later sold. Ron held a seat on the American Stock Exchange and owned his own commodities firm. Ron was also a world-class mastery of bridge.
Ron Rose thought playing in Europe would be best for him and he made three final tables during the December 2000 tournament at the Aviation Club de Paris. Ron returned in 2001 to win three tournaments in one week.
In 2001, Rose finished in the money for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the $1,500 pot limit omaha event. In 2003, Rose went on to win a WSOP bracelet in the 2003 seniors' no limit hold'em event and winning $130,060.
Rose finished 6th at the World Poker Finals in the first season of the World Poker Tour (WPT) and went on to win the World Poker Challenge event. Ron also won the inaugural WPT Battle of Champions event. Rose also made the final table of the first ever Professional Poker Tour event and he finished in 3rd place.
