do you wait for people when they leave the table? In a poker tournament this takes allot of time off the timer. in are game if you are not in your seat when its dealt the hand is folded. I posted here because it has to do with time in a tournament? |

Depends on the circumstances ...like if some one is feeling ill. If it's just a bathroom break, then they can wait until there's a proper break. I'm hardnosed about this because I've played in many a game where there are one or two who are always up and down, and it really breaks concentration and rhytmn |

yeah i would not even play in a game like that. I would just leave. It really slows up the game and I dont really enjoy short handed |

Nah. If it were an online game, you could sit out for a few hands but the game wouldn't stop so no, we don't wait.

I agree with the online games, and at home, we give someone a break if it seems reasonable but if it's a ploy, forgetabout it! |

we never wait in are live games and people that play know the rules so if they are leaving there seats tehy know they are not going to get dealt in |

I like to play it the way it normally would be played, if you're not there the hand gets folded. If I have to leave to go to the bathroom, I'll try and to it when I'm in an early position and if I have a weak hand, I'll fold it and sprint! lol |

I dont wait. I consider them sit outs and continue my play. If they sit out too long then I think they should get up and give their seat to another fish. |
